Up
- Livonia, MI
(July 15, 2008) The race for the drivers championship of the

Reigning series champion Justin Claucherty currently holds the

seven pointrs after seven races. In fact, the pair have exchanged
the points lead in each of the last three races. But the race
doesnt stop there as the Paul Schaffer and Keith Wioncek are
both easily within striking distance within 130 points of the
lead in third and fourth respectively.
-
- Rob Roney holds
the Hall Electronics Rookie of the Year lead over Keera Allen
and David Stone with Dave Parisian and Jason LaDuke less than
200 points back. The Speed Pro Masters Division points show Paul

holds a solid lead over the rest in both the Renegade Race Fuels

500 Fun for 'The Gentleman'
- (March 4, 2008) The Pre-Season
500 hosted by KVR Motorsports turned out to be a great success
with an informative driver safety seminar by Jon Meyer of Meyer
Motorsports and awesome racing action. And yes, the truck racers
brought plenty of close racing with plenty of bumps, spins and
crashes to the go-kart track. Many thanks to the staff at Kart-2-Kart
for keeping the karts running and the action flowing. Withstanding
the pressure from a blazing fast Keera Allen (2008 STTCS Rookie
of the Year Contender) and a late race charge from Larry Barylski,
Jr. (2004 STTCS Rookie of the Year), it was the 2003 ShortTrackTrucks.com
Challenge Series Champion, 'The Gentleman' Jim Froling, outclassing
the field to pick up the overall win!

- Immediately following the safety
discussions at 1:00 PM, KVR Motorsports is set to host the Pre-Season
500 go-karting race. Those of you who participated in the first
ever Pre-Season 500 remember the go-kart race as incredibly fun
and challenging and a chance to battle other competitors, crew
members, team owners and series staff on the track! The racing
format will allow each racer a practice session, qualifying session,
and a feature race. The feature races will be seeded based on
qualifying time. Cost per driver is $50 and you must be 16 to
race (under 18 requires parental signature). The race will be
held at Kart2Kart Go Kart Racing in Sterling Heights, MI. Please
